A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US
UNIpumps was established in South Africa 13 years ago and is now considered a market leader in the pool industry. We manufacture and sell efficient and effective products and solutions for the use of water in leisure, sports, and therapeutic applications associated with swimming pools, and spas for domestic, commercial, and public use.
WHO WE ARE
We were officially established in 2009.
From humble beginnings in a garage, UNIpumps recognized the challenges that the industry was facing, and we set out to offer top-quality products and services.
With our enthusiasm and drive to become the market leader in the pool industry, we quickly outgrew the garage and required bigger premises, creating job opportunities along the way. We soon moved into a new factory, where we set out to manufacture our very own products from quality material at an affordable price, starting with the basic needs of the industry. This is something we pride ourselves on and our customers continue to enjoy to this day.
This quickly set out to a wider range of products and replacement parts for industry-leading products. We took this growth as a sign that the industry required more of what we had to offer. This resulted in UNIpump launching a wide range of UNI products and spares. We took inspiration from like-minded individuals in the market and set out to improve on existing products, followed by the development and launch of our UNIFILTER.
Management has grown the entire manufacturing division to ensure quality and affordability. All moulds created by our manufacturing division is produced and perfected by our R&D team.

Swimming pool pumps are the heart of your pool or pond, and it circulates your water through the filter to keep your water clean and sparkling.
UNI Filter
The Uni Filter was designed with durability in mind, therefore we opted to go for a fiberglass construction instead of roto moulded plastic, this gave us a completely new design option, as well as the option of vibrant colours.
Our filters get vacuum-formed to ensure a watertight seal on the shell after which the two halves are joined. Our filters are finished and fully tested under normal operating conditions before they get polished.
The Uni filter comes with a 60-month onsite warranty under normal operating conditions for the shell within the Gauteng area. It also offers a built-in automatic pressure relief system. All internal components are manufactured from ABS plastic and were made with ease of use in mind.

Our high-rate Fiberglass Filters are durable and easy to operate with a side-mounted multiport valve with easy-to-select operation features. Our filters are pressure tested in the factory and have a one-bolt filter lid for easy access. The internal components are made from durable ABS plastic to give you peace of mind.

UNI DB-Boxes are weatherproof and flame retardant. Our UNI DB-Box is manufactured in our factory from a flame retardant virgin plastic making our UNI DB-Box durable and safe to use inside your pump rooms. The UNI DB-Box gets assembled in-house which gives you several options to choose from or have it built to your custom specification. All spare parts are readily available in stock. Our UNI DB-Box comes with a 12-mönth warranty on the box from the date of purchase.

MPV SELECTOR INFORMATION
All swimming pools need to run through the filter on the filtration setting, to remove all the dust and particles from the water by filtering the water through a sand bed and returning it back to the pool.
The swimming pool filter needs to be backwashed once a week, simply select the backwash option and start the pump. This forces the water back through the filter sand cleaning all the dust and particles trapped in the sand.
Run it on this setting until the site glass passes clear water.
After the pool filter has been backwashed, it needs to be rinsed. Simply switch off the pump change it to rinse and switch on the pump and run it until the water is clear through the site glass. This must be done after every backwash.
This must only be used when you vacuum your pool after using a flocculant or when you want to get rid of excess dirt or water. Please keep in mind that on this setting the water level drops drastically as it is pumped directly into the waste line and could cause your pool water level to drop below the weir level and cause your pool pump to run dry

Switch the filter to recirculate. This will bypass the filter, for when your filter has a leak or needs to be repaired. Keep in mind that no filtration will take place when in this setting.
Switching your filter to closed shuts off the water from running through the filter, this should only be used when cleaning out the pump basket or when working on the pump.
IMPORTANT
The UNI MPV must not be in the closed position when the pump is started and must not be switched into any position while the pump is running. Always switch the pump off before making your selection.
TRANSFORMERS
UNI Transformers are step-down transformers, they take the current voltage from 220v to 12v and are perfect for running a 12v LED pool light.

The UNI Combi is a prefabricated filter system ready to be installed. The unit is put together with our high-rate fiberglass UNI-filters, UNI Pump self-priming pool pump, and 3-piece durable plastic housing completed with a fully integrated UNI DB-Box. The size of the pool will determine what size of UNI Combi will be required. With our UNI Combi, upgrading your pool’s filtration plant has never been easier.
UNIpumps UNI Pump range was designed on the old but trusted Femco motor with an upgraded wet end that delivers the most efficient water filtration when used on swimming pools, koi ponds, and water features. The UNI Filter is made from fiberglass with durability in mind.
The combination of these two items puts the UNI Combi in a league of its own, with an efficient UNI Pump and our fiberglass UNI Filter, our Combis will deliver the best flow rate at a head of 10 meters.
Our Combis are fully factory tested under normal working conditions and carry a 24-month on-site warranty.
